Night Life
With a flourishing and vibrant arts scene resonating with exuberance, Singapore has no lack of day and night entertainment for visitors to take delight in. When the working day is over, Asia's Convention City offers an array of entertainment to help you unwind, from dramatic productions to dancing and from music to movies. The majesty of a symphony orchestra, the pulsating beat of a rock band, the intimacy of a solo performer, the drama of an Eastern Opera ... all designed to entertain and enthral.

Enjoy the myriad performances of modern dance, music and theatre, international acts and other exciting events staged virtually all year round.
With over 4,000 cultural events a year Singapore is fast becoming recognised worldwide as a global city of the arts. There are few places on earth that offer as much choice and diversity as this renaissance city. It is this vibrancy and the energetic embracing of the arts that has attracted the world's leading arts companies and performers to Singapore.

Internationally acclaimed companies like The Really Useful Group and Cameron Mackintosh have each established Singapore as their Asia Pacific base. Broadway and West End musicals enjoy long running seasons and legends like Pavarotti and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa frequently grace Singapore's stages.

Shopping
Singapore is a shopper's dream, and a bargain hunter's idea of heaven! Visitors usually express only one concern "so many shops ... so little time". Well, not if you are within Asia's Convention City.
For visiting convention delegates, a leisurely walk from their hotels via the shopping malls and the interconnecting walkways and underpasses is certainly less stressful than either hunting down a taxi or catching a shuttle bus from the hotel. With 1000 retail shops, there's something for everyone from designer boutiques to discount shops ... and all within a 15-munite's walk.

Suntec City Mall is Singapore's largest shopping and entertainment centre with 888,000 square feet of great shopping experience. The Mall is divided into four thematic zones, and has 250 retail, dining and entertainment outlets. Over 70 fashion, footwear and accessory outlets stocking famous brands make this a "must-visit" destination. The Mall offers service desks, dental, medical, laundry, banking - all designed to enhance the shopping.
The Galleria showcases a wide selection of famous brand names alongside souvenir shops. Besides G2000 flagship store, Mango's largest Asia store is also located here.
Speciality shops offering home furnishings, casual wear, lingerie and leisure products are located in the Tropics zone. Worldwide French hyper mart Carrefour boasts some of the lowest prices in town.
At the 'heart' and civic core of the mall is the Fountain of Wealth, certified as the world's largest fountain by The Guinness Book of Records.

Marina Square

The Mall is centrally located in the Marina Centre with direct linkage to Citylink Mall, Suntec City, Millenia Walk, Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay. It comprises 4 levels of shopping with more than 250 exquisite shops in a wide variety of exciting shop mix. The major tenants include Golden Village Cineplex, Superbowl and a large food court. The hyper mart chain, Giant, is expected to move in later this year.

Millenia Walk This is a shopping experience with a difference. With over 200 shops offering a mixed range of designer and street smart clothes with brand names, you are almost guaranteed to find everything you can imagine, however it is the ambience that sets apart this shopping experience. Located along a private street at Millenia Walk, Time Square offers a fusion of urban art forms and architecture that creates a friendly and vibrant shopping environment.

Raffles City Mall Featuring a major Department Store and Gourmet Supermarket, this centre also has over 100 specialty shops, including Marks & Spencer. A concierge service offers shoppers a friendly information service plus those little extras like gift wrapping. The shopping mall is directly linked to the City Hall MRT Station. The complex also houses two hotels, a variety of restaurants, a convention centre and numerous speciality shops. Watches, jewellery, electronics, optical goods and cameras are well represented.
Shopping is indeed one of the greatest pleasures in Singapore!
